Heat is warm - NOT HOT

So I have a 2005 Buick LaCrosse CXL with the dual temperature control zone thing. I'll turn the heat all the way up to 90 degrees but the heat is still just a little warm, not even close to hot. I don't think it's my thermostat or the heater core. I installed a new radio with OnStar adapter and steering wheel control adapter, but the steering wheel adapter wouldn't work so none of the buttons work on the steering wheel (doesn't really matter to me) could this be an issue? Doubtful but maybe. Should I try flushing the heater core or something?

Every fall for the last three I've had to back flush my heater core to get heat. Usually notice it in November as the weather turns cooler.

Did the heat work correctly before the new radio was installed? If so, then it may well have something to do with the radio installation.

I am unsure because I installed it in the summer and only ever used the A/C which worked.

Did you open the rad and check the level? If not it would probably be my first stop. Lots of people just check at the overflow jug. BL

I had to blow out my heater core several times until I had a proper coolant flush done. With the engine warmed up, both hoses should be hot. If one is not, the core is clogged. Sometimes you can blow out the blockage. Take care, because you can damage the core and replacing it is not a pleasant job.

If both hoses are hot, then you need to look at the temperature door actuators. In a dual zone system there is one for the drivers side and one for the passenger side.
