2004 lesabre limited
Hello
Can anyone recommend speakers for a 2004 lesabre limited.I have the factory cd/tape radio in it.The fronts seem good with the tweeters, but the rears sound to muffled.I want to keep the orginal radio just looking for a upgrade on the rear speakers but i don't want them to over power the fronts.I dont want to spend alot of $$ on them just good quality sound. Also how hard is it to remove the old rear speakers. Any suggestions would help.
Thank you

Here's a post and diagram on your question.

On the rear speakers you will need to check the OHM on the OEM rears they may have the information on the magnetic or someone on the forum may know for sure. 4-8 OHM's is pretty standard also looking at a speaker 1 way or possibly 2 way would give you the best sound control, good luck on the project.

Getting rid of the lower quality, 8 ohm speakers in the rear deck with be a big improvement.

Thanks for confirming 8 OHM's, it gets a little sketchy on what and when GM speakers change OHM's. Guessing wrong on the OHM's can really take a not so good sound to "this sucks" quickly.
