2005 lacrosse will not start

Help! 2005 lacrosse won't start. Checked fuses, relay, battery. Lights, bells all good.

When you say wont start,
It cranks but wont start or
It doesn't crank?

If it won't crank, put the transmission into neutral and see if it will then. If not, keep your foot on the brake and shift it through all gears while keeping the key turned. The neutral safety switch is just one often overlooked thing to check but it's given me issues on two cars.

How did you check the battery?

Evidently there was some spark left as the lights etc worked. Turned out it was bad. We just bought a replacement at CarQuest.

When my battery went bad two months ago, everything would come on including the horn working. However, when I went to start it just went "click."
