Drove my daughters for the first time in a long while and today took it to dealer to get oil/rotate done and noticed her wipers won't retract/park back down to the bottom of the windshield when powered off. The just stop wherever they are when I turn them off. Of course the warranty expired Feb 2020 so now they want $$$$ just to look at them.

Any simple solution to fix them? Fuse issue maybe? They work fine otherwise.

Thanks

You can change the wiper motor drive yourself. Easy peezee. The park switch is inside the motor and wiper transmission. Remove the wiper arms, then the cowl cover, then 3 nuts hold the wiper motor in place. Reverse the procedure. Your daughter may not have cleaned the snow from her windsheild at some point and this happens.
