I have a 2011 Lacrosse and the windshield defroster air wont come out. i can change to floor and dash vents and the heat works fine. i changed the blend door temp actuator. it was behind the glove box on the left. everything i read said that was it but still no air coming from the defrost. any help would be great. thanks

    Re: defroster not working

I looked at a 2011 Lacrosse AC part diagram and the AC assembly also has gears that can be replaced, so maybe the gears are stripped and will not move to the defrost position.

So may have to get behind your dash and really take a good look at the AC assembly and see if the gears are stripped or missing.
