    Oil Change Intervals.

I know, I know not an interesting topic but here goes. I have recently purchased a 2006 Lucerne in very nice condition with 101K miles. I do believe this car is going to need to last me til I'm done driving. I only drive about 2500 miles a year and with my previous car I got full synthetic with 10k mile intervals required. Was told by dealer to have it changed once a year anyway. Anybody have any idea what a safe time interval would be on the Lucerne with such low miles driven?

With only 2500 miles a year, a good new oil filter and synthetic 5W30 should work fine once a year. Use high mileage synthetic, usually marked with a red label.
