    Question ABS module replacement

If you put a new unit in ——-as opposed to rebuilding the old one, does it need
    a reprogram?

how are you going to command the ABS module to open all ports in order to bleed it?

My understanding is the module itself is bolted to the pump where the brake lines are attached. Removing
the module does not affect the pump. The module has three wire connections that clip onto to it. The module is bolted to the pump by 6 small torn head screws. The module can be pricey up tp $500+.
On the PA it’s on the driver side front, near that famous engine/ tranny mount.

In that case there should not be a need to program anything in my opinion.
