1995 LeSabre 3.8. Series 1 engine. I am trying to change the Belt Tensioner.
It looks like I may need to remove (2) coolant lines which are limiting any access to removing the lower bolts on the old tensioner ?
I am hoping to avoid having to remove the coolant lines.
My tensioner does not have the coolant jackets running through it (as the Series 2 / 3.8's have).
The coolant lines I am referring run below the power steering pump and close to the tensioner. Severely limiting my access to removing the bottom bolts (one which seems to go through the water pump housing and (2) which appear to go into the engine block.
Anyone have any suggestions to make this an easier job ?
