Brake pad damage

I got around to taking off the 70K mile ceramic pads from AC Delco on my 03. I thought the outside pad was making an occasional squawk because of the prong rubbing the rotor.

Instead I found the inner pad was bent and the ceramic pad was cracked.

I had no problem with equal braking other than the recent squeak. I had taken the rotors off to have them lightly turned due to a slight warp probably due to hitting water while the rotor was hot last winter/spring. I must have not gotten the pad into the slots correctly when I did the reassembly.
WOW.

"WOW" is right, I have never seen a brake pad backing plate warped like that in my past 50-yrs of automotive brake service.
