Buick Verano Timing Chain

As I look over these threads, I see I am not alone with the consistent issues with timing chain in the Verano. We have replaced it once as well as other parts, and followed up and short term oil changes. Is there any permanent fixes that anyone has came upon to prevent this. My daughter loves her car and we want to put this to rest.

What issue do you currently have that you believe is timing chain related?
When the chain was replaced were gears, tensioners, and guides replaced?

Bicycle timing chains are a failure waiting to happen! Poor design by humans!

Yea, that reminds me of the plastic coated aluminum cam timing gear from GM on high performance engines in the middle 60's. Pontiac GTO was a good example! That abortion was an attempt to reduce gear noise and ended up being a total failure.
