Coolant leak near firewall

I was going to start my car today when I noticed my coolant light was on. Go to refill it then heard dripping noises. Turns out that a line for my coolant is disconnected and I can't find the other end. It's a rubber tube near my firewall, does anyone know what this is? The car is a 1997 buick skylark 3.1L engine.

I think you are actually looking at the evaporator drain, with a failed heater core. See if the carpet is wet on the passenger's side.

The carpet isn't wet, but I think you are right about it being the heater core

At least you don't have a mess on the floor to clean. I've owned both the Buick Century's too long. I've had to clean up failed heater cores twice on both cars. They over flow exclusively on the floor.
