Disabling auto-dimming mirrors?

I have never been a big fan of auto-dimming mirrors and I've become even less of a fan after I got my windows tinted.

Does anyone know if there's an easy way of disabling the auto-dim feature of the rear view and side view mirrors?

I haven't really checked the Regal but on my A4 there is a light sensor on both side of the rear view monitor. If you cover the one facing the rear the system was disabled.

You can take this with a grain of salt, but I searched the all knowing manual when I bought the car (I always read them from front to back) and it was not mentioned. It states they are auto-dimming, but not how to disable.

I only had the self-dimming interior r/v mirror--which was simple enough to replace with the manual version (GM #13585947).
Thanks for the p/n. That's now on my "todo" list. I'm hoping the sides are as easy.
I wonder if that also will take care of the terribly placed "mirror bindi" on it too.
