electric fans on my 98 Buick lesabre stopped working

hi Guys , require advise, the electric fans on my 98 Buick lesabre stopped working
I just noticed today, the car is sitting and I start the car once a week for about 5 minutes
any ideas what to check

Why do you think there's a problem is the car overheating?
If you're only running the engine for 5 minutes, there's no need for the fans to kick on.

hi , no its low double digits here in the northeast, formerly when I started
the car and the engine was running so were the fans, now nothing.
I ran the car for over 20 minute today , I turned the car around before the snow
that due on tuesday , fans did not come on ??

Defrost on will also run the AC and the fans as a possible answer why they were on.

Maintenance up to date on the cooling system?
What are your coolant temps?
I forget the exact temp but believe it's above 225f for the fans to kick on.

If the outside temp is below 32f the compressor will not be engaged.

fans on the Lesabre does not kick on till 216 degree's mine hardly ever needs to kick on in two years I think I have seen mine go to 216 twice and that was spring/summer idling the 3800 is a great motor

The ENGINE temperature. Does your Buick have a temperature gauge?

hi , yes , it got warm today in the lower 30 , will have to try when the tempature of the earth get in the 40 's
