I need opinions.

I'm wondering if there's a ground wire that needs to be tightened, or if it's a fuse of some sort. Remember, the "bad" button moved from the driver's front door to the passenger front door.

That definitely does help. Looks like I'll need to get into the door and look at the connectors for the antenna that is attached to the drivers door handle. Since the issue started there, I wonder if I'll have to check the antenna in the passenger front door handle as well.

I'm thinking of taking my car to the dealer (gulp) to get this looked at, as well as to deal with a couple of other minor issues I'm dealing with. Thank you for digging that up!

I ran across that when I was looking for a schematic diagram for the Antenna.
I read thru it, and it looked as if it might be helpful.
I've never taken the Door Panel on my Regal apart, but I have taken apart
many others of different makes and models (Older Cars).
I did see some Videos on YouTube that might help if you decide to give it a go.

I too have taken a couple of different door panels off back in my day. I can only hope it was as easy as those were 🤣

After researching it a bit, I can definitely do it. It's too bad that you have to take the whole damn door panel off to unplug and replace the door handle. My brother's old G6 was MUCH simpler....probably since it was just a door handle with nothing fancy added to it.

It's all a matter of finding a door handle that's the correct color. I don't know why GM changed the name of the silver paint on my car so many times, but I can't find quicksilver metallic door handles anywhere. Only silver ice.

GM will call the same color 2-3 different things.
Buick Calls what I have Dark Sapphire Blue, Cadillac and Chevy call it Old Blue Eyes,
but it's supposedly the same color.
You might want to call a Buick Dealership and get the Code or Name for your Regal
(Present Day).

That's what I'll have to do. Who knows why GM does that with their paint, it just makes things confusing.

It makes people think GM has more colors available than they actually do!

I ordered some touchup paint quite a while back, but I can't remember if I had
to order Dark Sapphire Blue or Old Blue Eyes?
I have used it, and it does match my paint.

I had to have the Drivers Mirror replaced last summer after New Driver got too
close and hit it (didn't look like he should have been out driving alone yet).
We were driving right behind him and saw it happen.
Glad we were behind him, or it probably would have been a Hit and Run.
He did pull over down the street, 4-5 houses away, then walked back towards me
as he saw I was out in the street looking at the mirror.
The Body Shop I used matched the paint perfectly (wasn't even a Dealership).

I was extremely nice to him and explained that I wouldn't tell the police he drove
away (I let him know that even a house away might be considered Hit and Run
around here, depending on the Officer's mood).
He had also parked on the wrong side of the street facing the wrong way.
I told him he should turn his car around and park it the other way so he wouldn't
get a ticket for parking the wrong direction once the police arrived to write the report.
He also didn't have his License with him, didn't have an Up-to-Date Registration
(it was 3-4 years old, and I can't remember for sure if it was even for that car).
He didn't think he had his Insurance Information, but he did find it in the Glove
Compartment with the Outdated Registration.
Believe me, some Police Officer's will ding you for every violation, others are
very lenient, just never know which one will come to an accident.

My goodness, what a story. 🤣

I do have a new update. The passenger door handle button now works as it's supposed to. I'm at a loss lol. All 4 door handle buttons work.

Only problem is that next week, temperatures are going to get into the single digits again. Who knows what's going to happen now.

That can happen to all of us here in the Mid-West and East Coast lately.
We are getting Freezing Rain as I type, snow it so come later tonight!
I went out earlier, just before the Freezing Rain started (first time in a week
that my car has moved.

I keep expecting to walk out and see the side of my car is caved in with
all these D*mn Ice Storms we've had the last couple weeks.
So far, so good, no damage!

I should probably go out there and get my windshield wipers off of the windshield before they get frozen on. 🤣

I just put New Wiper Blades on my 2015 Regal and my Wife's
2013 GMC Terrain a couple days ago.
She complained about hers a week ago, then I was driving home
one night in the rain (Not Freezing Rain that time) and couldn't see
the lines on the road at all.
I decided mine might need replaced too.

I finally got over to Wal-Mart and Purchased a set for her and a set
for me.
I bought Michelin Optimum + Ceramic Beam for $13.40 each blade.
They seem to be doing a nice job so far.
My Regal was a straight-forward swap, her Terrain I had to change the Clip.
