It makes people think GM has more colors available than they actually do!
I ordered some touchup paint quite a while back, but I can't remember if I had
to order Dark Sapphire Blue or Old Blue Eyes?
I have used it, and it does match my paint.
I had to have the Drivers Mirror replaced last summer after New Driver got too
close and hit it (didn't look like he should have been out driving alone yet).
We were driving right behind him and saw it happen.
Glad we were behind him, or it probably would have been a Hit and Run.
He did pull over down the street, 4-5 houses away, then walked back towards me
as he saw I was out in the street looking at the mirror.
The Body Shop I used matched the paint perfectly (wasn't even a Dealership).
I was extremely nice to him and explained that I wouldn't tell the police he drove
away (I let him know that even a house away might be considered Hit and Run
around here, depending on the Officer's mood).
He had also parked on the wrong side of the street facing the wrong way.
I told him he should turn his car around and park it the other way so he wouldn't
get a ticket for parking the wrong direction once the police arrived to write the report.
He also didn't have his License with him, didn't have an Up-to-Date Registration
(it was 3-4 years old, and I can't remember for sure if it was even for that car).
He didn't think he had his Insurance Information, but he did find it in the Glove
Compartment with the Outdated Registration.
Believe me, some Police Officer's will ding you for every violation, others are
very lenient, just never know which one will come to an accident.
