Back with another thread, i own a 2005 lacrosse. Up until recently my 3rd brake light (LED of course) doesn't work when i hit the brakes. Now i've noticed in super cold weather anywhere from 5° to 20° degrees it works but as it gets warmer including the interior of the car it doesn't seem to work properly. Being LED it'd have to be replaced as a whole assembly. But i have confirmed it's an iffy connection somewhere because they light up sporadically. Any ideas?? Bad connection?? Thanks!! P.s. my regular brake lights DO work.

It sounds like you may have to just replace the third brake light assembly. My 2006 Cadillac Escalade third brake light just stop working and I had to replace the unit. Very common issue for 2002-2006 GM SUV's.

I assume the same for your 2005 Lacrosse, however it would be a wise move to check the connections before buying a new one.
