We are looking at a used 2010 Lacrosse V6. This was a new model year and we were wondering if there were any major issues at introduction. Should we be looking at a later year?

FYI we already own 2013 Lacrosse V4 (eAssist hybrid) so have a reasonable understanding of the car.

Thanks!

Haven't read about any major issues with them. Know with father-in-laws '07 Lucerne he's spending $2-300 average monthly to fix things wearing out, but over 100K on OD also.

We had a 2010. At just past 100k miles, the air conditioner compressor would no longer suck the fluid/gas so no cooling. It cost about $450 to have it replaced. Other than that just the usual wear items (battery, tires). The brake pads still did not need replacing. We are now on our second LaCrosse without any warranty or reliability issues. We really like this car.

I am the original owner of a 2010 CXS and so far I have done the water pump. Did the brakes a few months ago for the first time. I am at 134k km.
