Your park avenue is gorgeous. Have you considered the chrome trim set for your car
Concerning the chrome trim kit, are you speaking of the trim pieces on the doors?

Yes, the ones that glue to the vertical pillars on the doors. I have the kit, just gotta clean and install them. Too lazy lol

Park Avenue is such a classy name for a car. Of course GM dropped it for Lucerne, which is more associated with a cow breed. Figures. They also dropped Cadillac Coupe de Ville for CTS.

Interesting...I had thought that the later year PA's did not have the hood ornament, but now I'm noticing that it seems to be an Ultra thing. The hood on that 03 PA is exactly the one I want to put on my 04 PAU.

Nice Buicks and cool thread. I'll have to get a pic of mine up soon.

Those are some nice looking park avenues. I think the hood ornament was options. I dont have one but it's an ultra. I wanna put one on.

My '03, which was an intermediate model (it had the Touring suspension and most of the Ultra features, except no sunroof or supercharger), had the hood ornament.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't moved on to the '11 Regal, the '15 BMW, or the '16 LaCrosse. Though the LaCrosse is a worthy successor to the PA.

Beautiful PA. Okay this supports my theory that in the late generation PA's, the Ultras (for some reason) did not come with the hood ornament. Lol, they must want that 0.00000001% less wind drag :).

Regardless, if the opportunity arises, I'm going to try and swap a Non-Ultra hood onto my PAU. Just look at that emblem and grille - that's classy.

Here is my '98 Buick PA.

My Dad gifted me her when I graduated high school and she's been my go-to car ever since. She has been holding up good since I started college, but she has a lot of minor interior problems. In the future, when I garner enough funds, my plan is to make her a beautiful pinstriped lowrider.

Man those 90's generation PA's are growing on me.

IMO one thing they really missed the mark on the late models like mine is the door handles, we get the cheap "sleeker" pull up door handles...whereas the 90's have the classy and considerably more solid push button handles. Nothing like yanking on the cheapos in an ice blizzard...
