Anyone experiencing remote start issues with the updated app? I’m having to press and hold multiple times before it finally sends the command.
what does that have to do with having a problem with the Buick app start function?my.buick.com
under the Vehicle Health tab - all this data is stored there.
Happens whether it’s connected to wifi or strong cellular signal.Does your phone show a good signal strength when you have this problem?
Maybe I just posted in the wrong post. My HUGE apologies for making you click on something and wasting your time. *sarcasmwhat does that have to do with having a problem with the Buick app start function?
Was hoping you had a valid point in your post but guess not. If it was the wrong thread you posted to you could have used the edit function.Maybe I just posted in the wrong post. My HUGE apologies for making you click on something and wasting your time. *sarcasm
sorry/not sorry
The app redesign is a pain the butt...Anyone experiencing remote start issues with the updated app? I’m having to press and hold multiple times before it finally sends the command.
You need the Basic OnStar subscriptionIs this feature only for OnStar subscribers? I rarely use the Buick app, but when I do, I don't see this feature.
You have to have a Connected Services subscription. It's different than a full Onstar subscription. Is this feature only for OnStar subscribers? I rarely use the Buick app, but when I do, I don't see this feature.

It is a $15/month robbery that used to be $5/month.Is this feature only for OnStar subscribers? I rarely use the Buick app, but when I do, I don't see this feature.
You can load a Buick app to your phone. You guys have lost me.
I remote start my Tour-X with my FOB. (Press lock button then press start button directly below).
BTW. Very seldom use it except to test it every so often.
What am I missing?
As for OnStar, you are completely correct. Rip Off and MOSTLY worthless. I use it ONLY for the Travel Link (Green/Yellow/Red) Traffic Link road markings. OnStar forces me to get it from them, vice getting it from SiriusXM like every other car I’ve had including my present other car, for the past thirteen years
And it is a good feature to have on the phone where we can remote start while inside a building instead of just within the remote's signal distance. You can load a Buick app to your phone.
One of the features is you can remotely from any DISTANCE, lock, unlock, start, stop, activate horn and lights via OnStar.
No kidding! I recently traded my 2016 GMC Canyon in, and was surprised they wanted to charge $15 per month for the My Buick app. The My GMC app was free from the day i drove the truck off the lot. I ended up telling OnStar no thanks, wasn't spending $15 for that. Kept saying no and got the $15 Connect package PLUS the $24 Safety and Security package, all for $190 per year, all in. I can live with that. And it is a good feature to have on the phone where we can remote start while inside a building instead of just within the remote's signal distance.
However, does it worth $15/month? To me, absolutely not. $5/month, maybe.
Especially when Ford offers it for FREE, FFS!
Pretty sure Ford is not running a charity and figured out a way to monetize the data.
Why can't GM do the same?
Cool story. Why do you post in here? Don’t you know I’m the troll of the TourX sub forum?Mine hasn't been "updated" since it left the factory 1992 and I'm perfectly OK with that.
