Hello to all

I started to work on my PA and I have these codes :
- 26 : QDM A circuit #1 fault
- 31 : Wastegate solenoid circuit fault
- 44 : Oxygen sensor lean mixture

Can anybody give me some explanations about these faults and maybe what to do ? Where to start...
Regards

You need to find out what item is being driven by the Quad Driver that set the code. This code usually sets when there is a voltage fault on a particular Quad Driver due to a bad relay, solenoid, wiring or whatever is being run off that driver.

Code 26
2 flashes, pause, 6 flashes

Quad Driver Circuit Have the car checked by a dealer
Code 31
3 flashes, pause, 1 flash

Park/neutral switch Check all connectors, and for a faulty switch
Code 44
4 flashes, pause, 4 flashes

Lean Exhaust Check the ECM wiring connections. Check for vacuum leaks at the hoses and intake manifold gasket

Example of quad driver circuit shown below.

Hello HotZ28
Thanks for these explanations. Where did you find the troubles codes list? The one I used was different and yours seems to be more pertinent than mine...
I will start to work on this😉
Thx again

I forgot where the code descriptions I posted originated since they have been stored on my HD for years. A good source for manufacture & year/VIN specific OBD1 codes are listed in the links below. Since I do not know if your car is an VIN-L, or VIN-C, I will include both. Good Luck!

Hello HotZ28
Thanks again for these attachments...
How do I know that my PA is a L or a C model ?
On the registering card ? In the VIN ?
