Power door lock chimes instead of working

On the drivers side door when I attempt to lock the doors using the power locks before I get out the system makes a single chime and doesn't lock the doors.
when I do it from the passenger side the doors lock, and no chime.

Are you aware of the delayed locking function.
Read page 98 of the owners manual.

I found the information but here's my issue I don't have the keyless entry fobs.
And they are required to turn it off.
I bought a replacement set but the car won't go into programming mode. I even took it to a locksmith and he couldn't get it to go into programming.
Is there a fuse or option that would stop it?
If I can program the fobs then I can turn off the lock

Did look at page 210 of the 2007 manual, I dont see what year your car is.
There is no need for a FOB to use the customization menu.
Did you check with the supplier of the FOB if it is the correct FOB and how they recommend programming it.

I have a 04 Rainier. Everything I have read requires the fob to change the settings but I will check the dash menu tonight.

Any ideas on what would cause the unit not to go into programming mode?

Wrong FOB or incorrect instructions which is why I suggested contacting the supplier of the FOB.

got the fob fixed I will try to disable it to se if that fixes the issue
