• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "2008 LaCrosse" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 2008 LaCrosse" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Remote start triggering the theft alarm

On my 2018 Encore when I try the remote start it triggers the theft alarm. I don't know if it ever worked we bought it new and I just tried it. It does the same thing with both remotes. There are no codes, check engine light, the hood is closed and someone said oil pressure too low but I don't see how that could be an issue considering it is not running when you try it.

If you followed the instructions in the owners manual and the problem occurred it's a warranty item and the next step is to contact the dealership for service.
