Shortend Dog Bone disadvantages???

2002 regal gs

My 2002 regal gs stock torque strut mounts bushings are worn and ZZP list their shortened dogbones as having these advantages:
-Better oil pickup during drag racing
-Removes vibration caused from lowering the car
-Better axle alignment for less HP loss through the shafts
-Increased weight on the front tires for better launching
-Added clearance to sway bar for header and downpipe installs

All this and one reviewer posted they made rear spark plug replacement easier due to increased access along firewall.

Can anyone offer any input to a down side or negative to using this 1" shortened part?
