I have not seen anyone report yet regarding a problem with timing chains in the 2012 Verano, however I have seen it in the Enclave forum. Has anyone else had this problem? I had to have them replaced last year, only a year into owning the car, with no responsibility taken by Buick or the dealer that I purchased it from?

It may be a new car for you, but previous owner(s) maintenance and driving habits can also cause early engine ware on parts along with milage. Not defending the dealer or Buick, but it's the unknown details from the post. The other item is the 3.6 V6 series is the engine with the timing chain issue.
