I rotate my own tires and do it every 5k miles. I believe it's recommended at 7500, but it's easier for me to remember at 5k. Being 40, I don't drive my car like I did when I was 20, so tire wear is no where near as bad. But I want to keep the car a long, long time and want to avoid spending money on tires before I need to as well.

Does anyone know how tight I should tighten the lug nuts on the LaCrosse? By the way, if someone know's how much I should tighten the lug nuts on a GMC Acadia, would you let me know too?

Thanks!
John

From what I have here it shows a 2011 LaCrosse wheel torque to be 110 ft lbs. Page 12-3 of 2011 LaCrosse owners manual.
What year GMC? For 2007-2009 it's 140 ft. lbs.

Great article zamman. Thank you. Does anyone happen to know the exact socket size of the LaCrosse and Acadia? From my socket set I think it was 22 or 23 mm. I can't recall. The SAE socket seemed to have too much wobble in it.

Thanks again.
