Waze not booting up

2021 Encore GX ST. Sometimes android Waze does not boot up when i push nav button. Computer recognizes phone. Other features are working. I can reboot my phone and car finds Waze. Doesn't happen all the time. Aggravating.

When I reboot my phone, car recognizes Waze. Turn car off and get back in, car does not recognize Waze. What should I do?
