O N MY NEW buick encore i am having an issue with washer fluid nozzles aimed too low and hitting wiper arm, dealer stated they are not adjustable nozzles. has anyone had this issue and if so how did you resolve it.

Same issue and no solution to date ... It' bad !!/!

Sitting in driveway, there was a "low" aim, but enough fluid went all over the place that the window was cleaned -- the mist was wide spread.

I'll have to try at highway speeds.

I wonder if the nozzle is a generic GM part that could come over from say, a Sonic or a Cruze?

Good find Gooli.

I especially like the part about "technical services said it can't be done.." 😛

my auto body man said they are adjusting, need to get the special tool first , working on that this week thanks guys

Yep, same here..nozzles hit way too low. Took vehicle in for first service and was told that they cannot be adjusted. See post above for Opel tool to adjust nozzles. Why does GM do this??

got the tool, and GUESS WHAT ,, all the dealers are WRONG, the nozzles are adjustable, i did mine in 5 minutes, now i feel like i have a washer system again, so order the tool from eBay for 11 bucks you wont be sorry

Ah indeed able to adjust. Just spritzed the wife. I told her to strand clear. Takes a bit of time and water to get it right but with six ports total we are sure to get good coverage. I used an old tool for cleaning cutting torch nozzles. Insert one that fits and move it about. Can provide photos later.

My mistake. Not that I can't tell the difference between the two cars. But I was playing with the Sonic "assuming" they were the same setup. Just looked at the Encore and boy are they different.

Glad to hear that they also are able to be adjusted.

Interested in the photos of the welding tool as my Verano similar jets.

First rain of the season in >6 months here today and first time ever using the squirters.

Yes, they spray low on the windshield, but the fluid is quickly/ evenly distributed over the windshield I assume as designed.

Works well at speed.

Non issue.

So the nozzle has a small pivoting ball inside?

The problem I am having is with the windshield wiper arm. When driving, the steering wheel blocks vision to the arm. The arm just does too many things. It is gonna take a while for me to learn to operate it by feel as I can't see it. I think it is a real design flaw.
