Hey all,
Greetings from Michigan.

Picked up a 2008 Lacrosse Super from the dealer Saturday 28 Feb. 2015.

89,860 miles. payed $10,600. third owner. It's pretty mint.
ext. Mocha Metallic / int. Cocoa

I was driving an extra clean 2000 Grand Am GT1 before this, so although I loved that car, the Super is a nice upgrade for me.

I wanted to get these iPhone pics up today. Later this week I'll post some nice DSLR captures from a wide-angle lens on a Canon 50D.

Unfortunately the totally sick 18" stock rims did not come on this guy, and there are some 17" boys on here instead.

There were no service records in the owner's manual, which was frustrating for me because I logged every repair w the Grand Am. So I'm not sure of the current state of much of anything. This community's input would be highly valuable to me, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts and experiences. Thanks

Grand looking car! I originally test drove one of these LaCrosses in 2007 when I was looking for a replacement for my Mercedes C-Class. The one I looked at, and drove overnight, was a deep blue with the light gray interior. The deal fell through because of the dealership's attitude, and I wound up with a Park Avenue. But the LaCrosse was a fine car, and drove "serenely," as my lady friend Miss Linda put it.

When you say "Super," do you mean it has the supercharged 3.8 V-6? That 3800, super- or not, is one of the best and most enduring engines ever put out by GM.

Polish it up, change the oil and filters, and drive it like you stole it. (I've never quite understood that phrase, though. If you've stolen a car, wouldn't you want to drive carefully, so as not to attract police attention?)

Great looking ride, I appreciate your color choice.

I'm most at risk for getting a speeding ticket a few days after buying a new car. They're always so much smoother/more powerful than my previous car that the speed gets away from me. Keep an eye on that needle, congratulations!

Good advice! the Super really moves. Give it some gas and suddenly you're 500 ft in front of everyone..

The Buick Lacrosse Super sports the 5.3L LS4 V8 engine w Active Fuel Management, shared with (chassis too) Chevrolet’s Monte Carlo SS and Impala SS, and the Pontiac Grand Prix GXP. 300 horsepower and 323 pound-feet of torque.
