I drive an 05 LeSabre and am wondering if there are any aftermarket or gm interchange parts that would increase sway bar diameter?

What for? Did the GM engineers get it wrong? Changing the diameter of the torsion bars (sway bars) will change the roll rate and also change the under/over steer characteristics of the car.

No, I'd say the GM engineers got it right...for my grandparents! I'm trying to achieve less body roll during "sporty" maneuvers. I'd also like improving the brakes for less fade and quicker stops, does that offend you as well?

No, not offended at all. Just wondering the motivation. If you want to tune via torsion bar, the rear will have to be addressed as well. If you go bigger up front, you need to go bigger in the rear the same. Changing out the rubber (most likely worn out) bushings and end links to a harder polyurethane, will probably deliver what you are Looking for.

GM builds a "safety" so to speak into the handling of their vehicles. They want the car predictable and one that doesn't snap into over steer (back end breaking loose) unpredictably. You sound like a seasoned driver so tune away!

Lucerne components may be a option. Getting the original GM part numbers on your vehicle and see what other GM vehicles that use also can help in looking up crossover vehicles. Did this on my Lucerne and have larger front and rear sway bars as this vehicle has zero aftermarket parts.

my 2000 lesabre had no rear bar. I grabbed one off a park avenue at the junkyard, it fit right on, and made a huge difference
