Lowering my Buick Lucerne.

For the same reason all sport tuned vehicles lower their center of gravity. Because it looks cool. 😆 Oh....and handles better, but mostly, it looks cool. 😅
Cadillac DTS coilovers are the solution in this situation. As a Cadillac DTS is a Buick Lucerne. And a Buick Lucerne is a Cadillac DTS. 😁

Thanks a ton for your response. Yes..I've read and watched all the SEMA videos relevant to the Lucerne..quite a few of them were lowered...I read all the mods performed from each of the vehicles featured. Also downloaded all the Lucerne photos. Some I liked, others not so much. But one thing for certain..the Lucerne looks amazing lowered.
I intend to contact a couple of the coilover manufacturers. Cutting springs would definitely not be an option. Same with lowering springs made to lower..just not a smart option. Air bags would be amazing...but highly expensive and I'm far from loaded. Wondering...do you think the Cadillac DTS parts would be a perfect fit on a Lucerne? They really are basically the same vehicle right? I'm curious..
My Lucerne is the pearl white CXL so when I first saw this Lowered Lucerne I was like..."That is the look I want!!" 😉
I'm pretty sure all the SEMA Lucernes just had bigger side skirts on them. Definitely way bigger than factory

The SEMA Lucerne's had custom rocker panels along with front and rear bumper kits. They were available in the aftermarket for awhile but as with the lowering springs kits have gone MIA due to lack of interest. Note that these are CSX with the magnetic ride so the builders may have had a few more obstacles and who knows what dash lights might have just been ignored lol.
