04 Park Ave lower dash vinyl shrink / separate

Here the lower dash vinyl is separating due to shrinkage and adhesive failure. Seems like a common issue in hot climates. I can push the material back into position and secure the leading edge with plastite screws to the black supporting plastic beneath it, which will then be covered by the woodgrain trim pc. But, what have others done? Thanks for the help and ideas...

I had the same issue 03 Park Ave gray interior with 88,000 miles Car was from Tennessee. I replaced whole lower dash piece from junk yard. I tried to upload a pic with lower dash removed. Good luck

Yes. Glue AND screw. Mine is separating too so I’m planning on doing the same thing.
