I have a question if you recently replaced the ignition module on a 08 Buick Lacrosse cx 3.8 why would you have to replace it again within about 5 months?

That sounds like it was made in China! If you still have the box it came in, look @ the fine print on the back of the box that says "country of origin"!

OEG is Amazon junk brand. Good thing is they will usually replace it without the box and packing. Buy something better like AC Delco or named aftermarket like Standard brand. Also maybe something is causing it to fail like bad plug wires.
