Yes the manual says to use 91 or above which would bring mid-grade into it. I was curious as to what people are actually using, not what I should use. The manual also says you can use 87, but if you hear knocking to change to 91 or above. So thats why I put all three grades as choices.You looked in your owners manual?

Agreed, it is crazy that anyone would not just put 93 in to start, and those that would argue the expense of using 93 are not considering it is far cheaper avoiding any repairs later by using cheap fuels.Premium. Don't cheap out. Saving a few dollars filling up with regular isn't worth it if you have issues down the road.
