clicking

i have a 1997 buick lesabre and when i go to turn it over i doesn't do anything .... you can here a click on the top left corner but it doesnt do anything else. What we think it is is an ignition switch problem.... Will i have to get a new ignition lock cylinder also and my key has a chip in it...

Hey Guys, It's sort of a non-issue, but there is a distinct knocking noise that sounds like it's coming from the passenger side wheel well. The noise becomes apparent to me when ever I am slowing down at low speeds. I assume it has something to do with the wheel assembly on the right hand side...

Alright... from searching these forums it seems like it is normal for the Charocal Canister's purge valve to be clicking SOME of the time, but it seems like mine is ALWAYS clicking, regardless if the engine is hot or cold, if it's a long trip (9 hours) or just a short trip in-town (2-5 miles)...
