door chime ding

I have had an ongoing issue with my chime being EXTREMELY loud. It’s intermittent and will change in volume during the same series of chimes… I have set the chime volume in the DIC to the lowest setting (see pic). Help before I go insane! Thanks

Is there something I can do to turn off the door chime with the key in ignition? If I open driver door before removing keys, the damn thing will sit in the driveway dinging for 10 minutes. 😑 I know it comes through the driver door speaker. Figured it out with installing a LOC for sound...
