heater switch

I have a 1991 Park Avenue with about 120K miles on it. The heater fan is stuck on high and runs even when the engine is off. To stop it I have to pop the hood and unplug it...everything else seems to work fine, just the fan is stuck on high...anyone with the same problem? If so, how did you...
