sensor or electrical issue

From surfing the net, seems like this is a common issue in GMC products from 2020 to 2023. Just my luck this problem started 2 weeks after my 4 year warranty. It's now sitting in my friends garage, beeping away, draining my battery, because it won't recognize ot in park. What a hassle.
