starting issues

Hello fellow Buick owners. I have a 2005 Century with check engine light that says change crankshaft position sensor. I changed it, but light is still on. It is sometime hard to start up as i always have to crank it twice. Is this common with the 05 Century with the starting issue?

Hey all i just replaced the starter, when i turn the key it sounds like the starter wants to engage , i get the click but nothing after that. drove it for a week with a NEW starter and then this again. Is there a switch in the column also that may be causing this?
