I have a 02' Lesabre limited, the low beams don't work. I bought a new hdlight switch, and still don't work. Switched relays to test them and still no low beams. I checked all fuses but no luck. I have DRL's and they work during the day, but at night i have to drive with high beams on.

Is it possible both bulbs went bad at the same time? Has anyone else had a similar problem and what fixed it?

Thanks..

Do you have Automatic climate control or manual on the dash control?

I know - what does that have to do with the headlights but it does matter for which schematic you use.

You said that the hi beams work so let's ignore those for now.

There are two fuses for the low beams - one for each side:

HDLO - BMR - 15 Amp
HDLO - BML - 15 Amp

Make sure those are good

I'm not sure the relays for low and high be are interchangeable so that might not be a valid test.

You can do a ohm/continuity test on the bulbs to make sure they're good - you should be able to tell just by looking at the filament to see if it's broken but that's not always the case. If they've got a black haze on the inside they are probably burnt.

You said you replaced the hdlight switch - which switch are you referring to - the head light switch that you pull on to turn the lights on or the multi-function switch that is used to go from hi to low beams. The reason I ask is that the multi-function switch on the steering column does go bad from time to time.

PS If you put in new bulbs make sure not to touch them with your bare hands. The oils from your hand can cause the bulb to fail prematurely.
