Put the brakes on quickly driving through a parking lot when someone started backing out. You can imagine the slow speed I was driving and the type of braking I performed. Quick, just once, and then on my way. The warning light for the brakes came on and has stayed on ever since.
I have checked the fluid. It is full.
I have checked for leaks. None found.
I have checked the brake lights at the rear. All work when brake applied.

Doesn't brake poorly or pull or ??????

I only drive it @ 500 miles a month.

What might this be, before I take it in and have a mechanic look at it?
I have an Innova 3030 and it shows no codes.

There is a needle valve\sensor, usually in the master cylinder, the way it's supposed to work is the needle is centered between the two lines coming off of it, if there is a leak pressure will not be equal on both sides pushing the needle to one side or the other and cause the light to come on, though there may not be a leak stomping the brakes could've moved the needle, only thing that i can think of. But this is how the system detects a leak.
