My Fellow Buick Lovers, My Colleagues and Friends I'm having trouble with my 1989 Buick Century Custom 3.3L
It stalls when you accelerate, at first I could drive a couple days without it happening but now its impossible to drive it down the street without it turning off. Most of the time after it stalls, the car will crank but will not catch, it needs to sit a couple hours before it will start again. Ive down some work on the car but no success and with little less than a month left before school i need to get it fixed.
Besides doing the obvious things like checking fuel pump relay and fuses, So far i have changed:
-Fuel Pump and strainer
-Fuel Filter
-Crankshaft Position Sensor
-Throttle Position Sensor
-Mass Air Flow Sensor
-Fuel Line (not quite sure if my mechanic did or not)
-Ignition Control Module
After installing the ICM it seemed to get better, but no it still stalls, and now it seems to be leaking oil, could be related or unrelated I dont know.
Any advice or help will be extremely appreciated!
Thanks,
Fabio C.
