I have tried and tried to get the drl to go off, I am now opening the hood, disconnecting the battery when I park, and when I drive I have to connect the battery. I would like to know who to disconnect the damn thing altogether - I don't drive at night, only during the day. I'm a senior on a pension and I need this car for errands and such - very frustrating having to connect and disconnect the battery. Anyone that can help me or tell me where to download a factory user manual would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure the DRL's (Daytime running lights) are integrated into the LCM (Lighting control module), no separate relays or fuses. If they stay on with the key out, I would suspect the LCM. You should be able to turn them off by pressing the brake pedal to the first click. If this doesn't turn them off, I would think that further indicates the LCM.

By brake pedal......you actually mean parking brake.......right?

Yes I did, good catch thank you. Might be pumping the brake pedal for an eternity waiting for it to click. But yes I did mean the parking brake.
