Hello, first time at this site.
In order to shift from park to drive, I have to step on the brakes. After friend mechanic changed the #15 fuse, it shifted fine. I drove it and when I stopped it would not shift.
I got back home and it worked, now it won't budge.
I am waiting for the friend. he knows what he is doing, just wanted any suggestions to tell him.
He changed the #15 fuse, using tester, all the others work except #'s 10 and 20.
We changed all the backup lights that were out. Lubricated the shift shaft.
One of the wires connecting the backup lights make the light go off and on when you wiggle it. Could that be a problem?
Any other thing we can check?
No other problems with the car as first owner took care of it. Just had water belt changed, left side brakes done, new windshield wipers. Have to get the right side brakes done next.
