On your 1997 Lesabre,there is a drain plug, but, knowing what I do now, I will never use it again. It's plastic and it breaks very easily. In my opinion if you want to drain coolant from your radiator, I would disconnect the lower radiator hose located on the passenger side of the radiator. The drain plug you are looking for is on the drivers side lower. Located just about the same height as the lower inlet and hose I recommended using for drainage. Good Luck!
