1997 Buick Skylark 2.4L
The blower motor on my daughter's Skylark needs to be replaced. It still works, but is intermittently making noises and stops. Looking at a few YT videos, in order to get access to the motor, a cover has to be cut away (cut lines on the plastic cover) ?
I haven't dug into this much, but popping the hood yesterday, this model is that type. I did see the cut lines and tabs I'm assuming are for screwing the piece back on. I've lost my manual for this car, and have another one on the way hoping it has instructions on what needs to be done. The manuals that I've found online show the motor and related parts, but don't mention anything about having to cut out a shroud to get access to the mounting bolts and motor.
Am I understanding this correctly?
Thanks,
