Buick Century 2019
Hi, I have 1999 Buick Century (120,000 miles) with the following problem:

The car starts up fine but when I push the accelerator (in P, N, or D) it will stall after approx. 2500 rpm and not go faster than approx 10 miles an hour. No check engine light. I had the fuel filter and fuel pump changed which seemed like temporary fixes. That is, I picked it up from the shop, it works fine, I leave the car in my drive way (which has a steep angle!) and the next day the problem is there again.

Any ideas?

Sound like a bad TPS sensor. There cheap and easy to replace. If you have access to a scantool you can check it and make sure.

While you are at it check the fuel pressure regulator to make sure it has not failed. Pull the vacuum line off of it and see if fuel pours out. If it does, then it is bad and needs to be replaced.
