one owner, serviced either at Buick dealer or by one highly reputable independent shop. If interested, please let me know.
280 ft-lb of torque (@3600rpm) is still a level of torque not that common in newer cars, but with overdrive you can still get 28-30 mpg on the highway; mid-size with plenty of room for passengers as well as cargo room in trunk; interior is in excellent condition, generally
In general, I've tried to keep the stock look of the car but have upgraded things that were important to me like braking and handling:
-Akebono ceramic brake pads
- Powerslot cryo-treated slotted brake rotors (good stopping power, especially in rain, quiet, very low brake dust, long rotor life that does not warp due to cryo-treatment)
- brake calipers in front are Akebono as well
- chrome wheels in good shape, in part due to ceramic brakes
- directional michelin pilot sport plus all season tires (high performance, very safe in rain), which are filled with nitrogen
- Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs (both high and low beams): much brighter and safer than any stock halogen bulbs for any car and are close to HID output
- new suspension 4-5 years ago: KYB AGX Adjustable Gas struts + Eibach springs (suspension can be tuned if desired, but it's currently on the most "forgiving" setting for comfort)
- thicker, solid sway bars (front and rear) installed around the same time for much more solid feel
- fully synthetic oil since 2005 (mostly mobil 1), and regular dealer service prior to that with conventional oil; supercharger oil changed within the past few years
- K&N engine air filter (better power, fuel economy, and can be cleaned instead of having to replace with paper filters)
- Updgraded 4T65-E transmission valve body installed in 2007
- about 137,000 miles but well taken care of
