- 1988 olds custom cruiser, 1981 Turbo TA Indy Pace Car
I know these aren't Grand Nationals but you guys are the 200-4r masters. Im working on two builds. 1981 Turbo TA Indy Pace Car and 1988 Olds Custom Cruiser. I'm new to the 200-4r and need guidance on who produces the best or who is the best to rebuild one. The Custom Cruiser came with the 200-4r and we want to keep factory column shift and mechanical speedometer. We are however dumping the factory 307 for a lm7 5.3. Nothing wild, 400hp or less daily driver. Who would you recommend for trans duties? Running factory efi with holley terminator x. This vehicle is my first BOP build but I have a 1981 Turbo TA Indy Pace Car with verified 29,000 miles that comes next.
