Hello,

This information is second-hand, so sorry if anything is a little off. My grandfather has a 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited. There was an issue with the oil pressure gauge and my uncle replaced the oil pressure sending unit, which didn't fix the issue. Looking at the car a little more, he noticed the digital oil pressure display keeps fluctuating between 0 and 10. The digital fuel and temperature displays are fluctuating as well. The check engine light is on and he'll get the code read soon.

Does this sound like an issue with the dash system / dic? Or sound familiar to anyone? What should he look at next? He could keep replacing parts, but he was hoping someone had encountered a similar issue and knew what the problem was.

Thanks,
Matthew

Sounds like it might be a bad gauge cluster. It could be a bad PCM sending bad data but that is much more unlikely.

Check a local salvage yard for used clusters and see if you can pick one up for cheap - and if that doesn't fix it then he's not out a lot of money.
