2002 buick lesabre rear shock issue

Car road very rough, rear shocks were hard and filled with air, checked fuse, fuse was blown, replaced fuse, now the left side became soft and working properly while the right rear shock is still hard and now allowing the car to ride properly. Does anyone know what the issue could be? why the fuse blew in the first place and why the left side fixed while the right side is still not working correctly?
It also may be notable to mention 5 months ago an unknown shop changed both shocks, could they have done something wrong that would only be showing up now? Thank you for your replies and time.

The original problem sounds like the level control sensor that failed, or the exhaust valve which caused the original shocks to over inflate. Along with that, excessive run time of the compressor could cause it to overheat and blow a fuse. If the fuse blew after the system over inflates, the level exhaust valve will not work either, therefore over inflation & a rough ride (if the original shocks/air lines were not leaking)!

When you had the shocks replaced 5-months ago, was the car level on both sides & both shock bladders inflated, or is this something new that has occurred? Sorry, I did not see this on my first scan!

Evidently, you have something new happening!
The rear level control is a very complicated system and requires well trained technicians with proper testing equipment (not the unknown shops) of all the components to determine the problem.
